A Kind & Keen Eye Workshop

Join Juliet Loranger for the full (or part of) weekend of practice, learning, seeing, and lots of discovery. This is a fun opportunity for seasoned teachers and brand-new teachers as well! We will all contribute to the discussion, and each person brings their own insight, which will make for a robust study of what we teach. We will learn how we can develop a 'trained eye' in a non-judgmental yet effective way.

This workshop will train you how to use your vision in these ways:
> What you may be seeing in a student's body.
> What you may see throughout the room in a group class.
> How to see positions that could be injurious or exhausting.

Juliet will also coach you on how to translate the things we see into words, breathing, gestures, touch, and class structure.

These teachings will be interspersed with yoga asana, mobility practices, and plenty of conversation ranging from body acceptance and positivity, pedagogy, anatomy, and dynamics. Poses we will unpack: basics like warrior 1 & 2, seated forward folds, pigeon, and twists to more intermediate poses like side plank, some inversions, and backbends.

Kim's class includes 75 minutes of yoga + 15 minutes of guided meditation.
